Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to gain real-world experience in the sports industry? Quincy Baseball offers dynamic internship programs designed for students and young professionals who want to develop their skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Available Internship Positions

1. Marketing & Social Media Intern

  • Assist in creating engaging content for social media platforms.
  • Develop marketing campaigns to promote games and events.
  • Analyze social media performance and engagement.

2. Sports Management & Operations Intern

  • Support game-day operations and logistics.
  • Assist with team coordination and player support.
  • Learn about sponsorships, ticket sales, and event planning.

3. Media & Broadcasting Intern

  • Assist with live game broadcasts and commentary.
  • Create highlight reels and post-game analysis content.
  • Support interviews and media relations.

4. Community Engagement Intern

  • Organize and participate in outreach programs.
  • Coordinate special events and fan engagement activities.
  • Build relationships with local organizations and schools.

5. Stadium Operations: 

  • Assist in maintaining the ballpark’s overall condition and ensure all areas remain in good working order
  • Support inventory management and purchasing of supplies for the stadium
  • Aid in pre-event and post-event breakdown
  • Assist in daily set up and preparation of concession stands, bars, and group areas
  • Take responsibility for setting up post-game meals in the clubhouse for both teams
  • Assist with restocking and organizing the team store as needed

6. Ticket Sales: 

  • Assist the sales team in fulfilling ticket orders
  • Conduct research and gather information to help expand season ticket memberships and group outings
  • Support the development of ticket packages and promotional events for the 2025 Prospect League Season
  • Serve as customer service representative for ticketing needs
  • Process walk-up ticket sales
  • Cold-call potential group and season ticket buyers 
  • Provide support to customers purchasing tickets both over the phone and in person
  • Learn the Glitner platform

7. Partnership Sales: 

  • Identify and engage potential partners for the 2025 season
  • Cold-call businesses and organizations to secure partnerships 
  • Write and review gameday reads and sponsorship activations to ensure accurate implementation of promotions and sales commitments
  • Track sponsor displays, signage, ads, programs, credentials, and tickets

8. Promotion & Marketing:

  • Develop a social media strategy and create content for Instagram, Facebook, X, and Tik Tok
  • Produce content and articles 
  • Compile a weekly e-newsletter highlighting upcoming games and events to boost ticket sales
  • Coordinate media requests and manage credentialing
  • Analyze the success of online campaigns through data collection and reporting
  • Assist in planning and coordination of promotional events, giveaways, and schedules for the 2025 Prospect League season 
  • Engage with local businesses and the community to organize and execute theme nights
  • Develop and plan in-game entertainment for the 2025 Prospect League season
  • Create a run-of-show for each home game, including PA reads and on-field activities for pre-game and in-between innings
  • Capture photos and video of each home game for future marketing materials

Requirements

 

  • Positive attitude and eagerness to work
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and demonstrate self-motivation
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Capacity to handle multiple tasks and take direction from various supervisors
  • Availability for night and weekend shifts, including special events

 

This is an unpaid internship. Applicants must be pursuing college credit through their institution.
