QUINCY, Ill. — Baseball season is almost here, and the Quincy Doggy Paddlers are ready to bring the fun in 2025! The team has announced its action-packed promotional schedule today, promising fans an unforgettable Inaugrowl season at historic QU Stadium.
The Doggy Paddlers, members of the 18-team Prospect League, will kick off the season with Opening Night on Wednesday, May 28 at 6:30 PM, and it’s only the beginning of a jam-packed promotional slate.
“Our promotional schedule this year is absolutely next level — it’s packed with unique giveaways, fan-favorite nights, and something cool for everyone. You won’t want to miss a single game,” said Director Tim Hoker.
This year’s calendar includes four dazzling post-game fireworks shows presented by Happel Inc. REALTORS, lighting up the Quincy skies following each Friday night home game at the ballpark in 2025. The Doggy Paddlers will host post-game fireworks on Friday, May 30th, Friday, June 6th, Friday, June 20th, and Friday, July 11th.
Fans can also look forward to a star-studded lineup of special guests and performances throughout the season, including:
- WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett – Friday, June 6th
- Legendary mini rockers themselves, Mini Kiss – Saturday, June 14th
- The St. Louis Cardinals’ beloved mascot Fred Bird – Wednesday, June 18th
- The wildly entertaining Zooperstars! – Saturday, July 19th
- The jaw-dropping talent of Amazing Tyler – Thursday, July 31st
Themed promotional nights for the 2025 season will celebrate all corners of the community and pop culture, including:
- Bark at the Park – Tuesday, June 3rd
- VCR Appreciation Night: Tribute to the 80’s – Saturday, June 7th
- Educators Appreciation Night – Thursday, June 12th
- First Responders Appreciation Night – Sunday, June 15th
- Youth Baseball and Softball Night – Tuesday, June 17th
- Military Appreciation Night – Thursday, June 26th
- Everyone’s favorite throwback—90’s Country Night – Saturday, June 28th
- Gift Card Palooza – Tuesday, July 1st
- Pink at the Park (Breast Cancer Awareness) – Saturday, July 5th
- Octoberfest at the Ballpark – Tuesday, July 15th

Also, the Doggy Paddlers will have “Signature Sundays” where the team will be available for post-game autographs after Sunday home games.
